Dr. Richard Downs has been practicing dentistry in Dubuque since the summer of 1978. At that time, he and his wife Colette moved to Dubuque from the Great Lakes Naval Base North of Chicago with their two children Jeff and Ryan. Both Colette and Richard grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa and completed college educations at the University of Iowa before Richard went on to Dental School. Dr. Downs has constantly educated himself and his staff in the rapid advances in dentistry in areas such as Invisalign, implantology, and cosmetic dentistry. Since 1978, Richard Downs, D.D.S. has been practicing dentistry at Abbadent Dental in Dubuque, Iowa. As of September 2007 Dr. Downs and Dr. Rauen created the Platteville Dental Partnership.
