Dr. Robert Traul, a native of Findlay, Ohio, is a 1971 graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus. He has practiced general dentistry for over 35 years and maintains active licenses in Florida, Illinois and Wisconsin. He practices three days a week in his Galena office and is now practicing two days a week with Platteville Dental.
Dr. Traul has had a wide variety of dental practice experience including two years with the United States Public Health Service, solo private practice, small group and large group practices in both rural and urban areas. As a result of the learning opportunities associated with these varied practice settings, Dr. Traul is able to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of many alternative dental treatments. He feels patient education is an integral part of having the patient be involved in their own treatment choices.
Dr Traul and his wife Sally, a dental hygienist, have three grown children, six grandchildren and share a house with Sally’s parents in the Galena Territory.
